About Dr. Inverso
From an early age, Dr. Inverso loved working with tools and was exposed to all types of woodworking tools by his father and grandfather. Woodworking allowed Dr. Inverso to be creative, and he was inspired to go into oral and maxillofacial surgery because he could continue to utilize tools while helping people improve their quality of life.
Dr. Inverso is compassionate with his patients. He enjoys creating dialogue, providing reassurance, and answering questions to help relieve any anxiety a patient may have. He joined Westwood Oral Surgery & Dental Implants in 2023.
Hobbies and Interests
In his free time, Dr. Inverso enjoys going to the beach with his family, surfing, running with his wife, woodworking in his garage, and spending time with his parents and brother in Philadelphia.
Education and Residency
Dr. Inverso completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh. He went on to earn his DMD degree at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and his MD degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Inverso completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Inverso is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). He is also a member of many professional organizations, including:
- American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS)
- American Dental Association (ADA)
- New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (NJSOMS)
- Southern Dental Society of New Jersey
Dr. Inverso is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
